
Razorbacks Sign Cal Transfer Tianna Bell
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former California infielder and All-ACC performer Tianna Bell has transferred to Arkansas to join Head Coach Courtney Deifel and the Razorbacks.
Bell started all 58 games for Cal at first base in 2025 while earning Third-Team NFCA All-Region honors in addition to being a Second-Team All-ACC selection. The Antioch, Calif., native batted .347 with 61 hits, 15 home runs, 10 doubles, 35 runs scored, 116 total bases, 12 walks and four stolen bases while posting a .659 slugging percentage and a .401 on-base percentage. She posted 14 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games while leading the team in slugging percentage (.659), RBIs (54), home runs (15) and total bases (116). Defensively, Bell recorded a .991 fielding percentage with 308 putouts and 11 assists in 322 chances.
As a sophomore in 2024, she started in all 56 games while being named Third-Team All-Pac 12 and Third-Team NFCA All-Region. Bell batted .305 with 47 hits, six doubles, 12 home runs and 34 RBI while drawing 21 walks and scoring 24 runs. She registered a .578 slugging percentage and a .398 on-base percentage. Bell posted 14 multi-hit games and nine multi-RBI games during her sophomore campaign.
She saw action in 37 games while making 34 starts as a freshman in 2023. She smashed five round-trippers and drove in 20 runs while collecting 21 hits and posting a .409 slugging percentage. She homered in her very first collegiate at-bat in a win over San Deigo on Feb. 10, 2023, before going 2-3 and homering twice the very next day in another win over San Diego.
Bell attended Heritage High School in Antioch, Calif., where she helped lead her team to league championships as a freshman and junior while earning first-team all-league honors all three years of her high school career (2020 canceled due to COVID). She was named to the All-State Softball team by Cal-Hi Sports and All-Metro Softball Team and also named the Contra Costa/ Tri-Valley Regional Player of the Year in 2021 after batting .519 with a .557 on-base percentage, 91 RBI, 81 hits, and 70 runs scored as a junior. She ranked No. 13 in Extra Innings’ Under 18 rankings and 11th in the nation for her class.
