Home Sweet Baum-Walker
Arkansas, who is 23-1 (.958 winning percentage) inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium this season, rides a program-record 21-game home winning streak into Tuesday night’s double midweek series opener. The Razorbacks’ record for consecutive home wins is 27 at George Cole Field, their ballpark from 1975-95, during the 1984-85 seasons.

The previous program record for the longest winning streak in Baum-Walker Stadium history was 16 wins in a row, which was accomplished by the 1997 Arkansas Razorbacks under legendary head coach Norm DeBriyn.

Excluding the shortened 2020 campaign, the Hogs have won 28 or more games at home in six consecutive seasons, including a program-record 34 wins in 2018. Last season, Arkansas went 32-6 (.842 winning percentage) at Baum-Walker Stadium, marking the Razorbacks’ fourth 30-win season at home since the stadium opened in 1996.

Hogs’ Hot Start
Arkansas is off to a blazing hot start through its first 30 games of the 2024 campaign. The Hogs boast a 27-3 overall record, their best 30-game start of the Dave Van Horn era and their most wins through 30 games in program history.

The Razorbacks’ 27 wins through their first 30 games of the season surpasses their 26-2-2 record in 1982, when Van Horn was the team’s starting second baseman, as well as the Southwest Conference Newcomer of the Year.
