Razorbacks Take on Tide in Friday Evening Match
The No. 11 Razorbacks hit the road yet again this week for a single match against the Alabama Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
It’s the second meeting of a home-and-home series between the Hogs and Tide this season, and Arkansas came out victorious in the first go-around, 3-1.
The match is Arkansas’ first of two on the road in the next week, and sixth away from home dating back to Oct. 20. The Hogs are currently 21-4, 11-2 in SEC play and have a 6-2 road record. The Tide come in the contest with a 10-14 overall record, are 0-13 in conference play, and 4-6 at home.
First serve is set for 6 p.m. CT on Friday night, and the match will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
Scouting the Series: Alabama
- Alabama is Arkansas’ second repeat SEC opponent of the season and the two teams met less than a month ago
- The Hogs haven’t been to Tuscaloosa since 2021
- Alabama lands in the top five in the SEC in aces per set with 1.57. Arkansas leads the conference with 2.11
