
Razorbacks Back In Bud Walton On Monday
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Home sweet home is the theme this week as the University of Arkansas women’s basketball team returns to Bud Walton Arena hosting Kentucky in a Southeastern Conference match-up on Monday.

The game is the first of the night on the SEC Network and tips at 6 p.m. The home contest is a welcome change for the Razorbacks who have played five of their last six contests on the road.
Scouting Arkansas
Arkansas enters the game with an 11-10 overall record and are 2-6 in the SEC. The tough stretch featured games at nationally-ranked Georgia, Missouri, defending national champion South Carolina and NCAA runner-up Mississippi State.
Junior Malica Monk continues to lead the team averaging 16.2 points per game and 33.6 minutes per game. The North Little Rock native has scored in double-figures in 20 of 21 games this season.
Arkansas had some good news in its last game as graduate student Devin Cosper was able to log some minutes after missing the two previous contests with an injury. Cosper is the team’s second leading scorer with 14.6 ppg and averages 6.5 rebounds per game.
Scouting Kentucky
The Wildcats improved to 10-11 overall and 2-5 in league play after a commanding win over Alabama last week. Maci Morris leads the team with 15.7 ppg followed by Taylor Murray with 11.5 ppg this season. Alyssa Rice is the team’s leading rebounder averaging 6.9 rpg.
Kentucky opened the year winning six consecutive games, but the Wildcats stumbled losing eight in a row. They picked up wins at Florida and against Alabama winning two of their last four games.

Arkansas has a bye on Thursday before traveling to Alabama for a rematch with the Crimson Tide on Sunday, Feb. 4. The Razorbacks host No. 10 Tennessee on Feb. 8, and No. 11 Missouri on Feb. 11 as the season continues.
