Razorbacks Announce Baseball Gameday Promotions and RBRN Promotions

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — With one of the largest promotional schedules in college baseball, the University of Arkansas has announced there will be 23 home promotional dates for the 2008 season.The scheduled giveaways include a replica stadium, an auto bottle, a collectible baseball, alarm clocks, tote bags, cd case and and team photo cards. Highlighting the promotional schedule is "Fireworks Night" on Friday, May 9 when the Razorbacks host South Carolina.In addition to the gameday promotions, the Razorback Baseball Radio Network will continue it’s on air promotions, American Airlines Swing for the Skies Contest and First Federal Bank Homeruns that Help. The American Airlines Swing for the Skies Grand Prize Winner will receive two free air tickets to fly anywhere in the continental United States that American Airlines services. During the sixth inning of each game, one lucky fan is chosen from the entries to participate. If the Razorbacks get a hit, that contestant qualifies for the grand prize drawing at the end of the year.For every Razorback homerun hit this season, First Federal Bank will again donate $25 to the Northwest Arkansas Champs League. Champs League gives children with any form of a disability a chance to play sports and do sports that other children get to do. Since the inception of this program in 2006, First Federal Bank has donated $3,475 to the Champs League of Northwest Arkansas. "We are very excited about our promotional lineup," said Matt Shanklin, Associate Athletic Director for Marketing. "Big league promotions are a small, but important part in entertaining and attracting people to Razorback baseball. This lineup brings top-notch promotions to the Razorback Baseball Radio Network and Baum Stadium."
