Redlicki, Salazar Learn ITA All-American Draw
TULSA, Okla. – After a brief break from the courts, the Arkansas men’s tennis team returns to action Thursday, as the main draw of the ITA All-American gets underway in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both Mike Redlicki, the No. 11 player in the nation, and Jose Salazar, the No. 45 player in the nation, are among the 64 players in the singles main draw.
“These are the best 64 singles players in the nation,” head coach Andy Jackson said. “Mike and Jose both have big opportunities tomorrow. Jose plays a top-15 player and Mike has a chance to build on the confidence he gained from the Southern Intercollegiate Championship. They are both eager to compete tomorrow.”
Redlicki, coming off a singles title at the Southern Intercollegiate and seeded 9-16, will face NC State’s Nick Horton, the No. 39 player in the nation, at 11:30 a.m. Salazar drew California’s Andre Goransson, seeded 9-16 and the No. 17 player in the nation, at 12:30 p.m.
The singles main draw will have both live scoring and live streaming available. Results will be posted at the conclusion of each day throughout the tournament.
