A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, de Paulo is a 6-1 power forward who attended New Mexico Junior College in Hobbs, N.M., for the last two seasons…Scored in double figures in 25 of 30 games this year including the final 14 of the season…Earned First-Team All-America honors and was the Region 5 Player of the Year averaging 16.5 points per game, shooting 43.2% from the floor, 40% from distance and 73.7% from the line. de Paulo also averaged 6.2 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game in her final season of junior college basketball.

Angelica is a very versatile offensive player. She can shoot from distance or take on a defender one-on-one. She also has the size to post up if we need her to. Angelica has a chance to immediately impact our team and I’m really looking forward to her arrival on campus.
