In his first season at Arkansas, Boland was a key contributor in doubles for the Razorbacks, posting a 9-10 overall record along with an 8-4 overall singles record. During the fall season, Boland impressed in his performance at the ITA Central Region Championships, going 3-1 in singles play. Boland was a member of the team that claimed the Bonita Bay Classic championship in November, where Boland finished 2-1 in both singles and doubles. Boland opened the dual season with wins in his first three doubles matches and became a consistent staple of the doubles lineup at the start of SEC competition. Boland teamed up with Marino Jakic and primarily competed on court three, collecting a 4-4 record in SEC matches. The duo won their first two matches and clinched the doubles point in Arkansas’ upset victory over No. 12 Texas A&M. The pair then won back-to-back matches again as Boland pushed his individual doubles record to 9-3. Boland appeared in the singles lineup for the Hogs in nine matches, securing a point for the Razorbacks in victories against Alabama State, Hawaii and Tennessee State.

Rated as the No. 62 overall recruit in the nation according to Tennis Recruiting Network. Boland was ranked as the top player in the state of Arkansas and rated as a five-star recruit. Boland was also ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the Gulf States Region.
Boland comes to Fayetteville with a career-high ITF Juniors ranking of No. 903 and posted an 11-6 singles record alongside a 9-5 doubles record from 2021-22 in ITF Juniors tournaments. Boland captured his only ITF Juniors singles title at the J5 McKinney in September 2022, winning five straight matches to claim the title.
Boland is the son of Brian Boland, a four-time NCAA National Champion as the Virginia men’s tennis head coach and is a two-time recipient of ITA National Coach of the Year award. During his time with the Cavaliers, Boland won six ITA National Team Indoor championships, 13 ACC titles, and amassed a 140-match winning streak in ACC matches.
