Prior to Arkansas
Schafer comes to Fayetteville after spending the fall semester of her freshman season at Tennessee. Schafer holds a career-high ITF Junior ranking of No. 177 while amassing 29 singles wins and 22 doubles victories from 2021-23 in ITF Junior tournaments. Schafer captured her only ITF Juniors doubles title at the J4 Corpus Christi in October 2021.
Personal
Schafer attended Laurel Springs High School in Cumming, Ga. and was the nation’s No. 59 overall recruit in the Class of 2024 according to Tennis Recruiting Network. The four-star prospect was ranked No. 6 in the state of Georgia and No. 22 in the Southeast Region.
