Graduate  (2021-22)
Emily wrapped her final season as a Razorback with a 15th place finish in the 400 free relays at NCAA Championship, which was the fastest time in school history with a 3:13.31. Barclay earned an Honorable Mention All-American with the 15th place finish.  At the 2022 SEC Championship, Barclay finished in fourth place with a 21.84 in the 5o free, which was her personal best.

Graduate (2020-21)
Emily began her first season as a Razorback against Missouri finishing third in the 50 free (22.94) and anchoring the 400 free relay for Arkansas.  At the 2020 U.S. Open, Barclay won the 50 free (25.25). In the Mizzou Invitational, Barclay swam the butterfly-leg for the Hogs to win the 200-medley relay. At the SEC Championships, Emily was strong for the Razorbacks in the relays competing in the 200-medley relay finishing seventh (1:37.91) and 200 free relay finishing sixth (1:29.59). In the 50 free, Emily earned her best time of the year (22.15). At the NCAA Championships, Emily finished 23rd in the 50 free (22.33).

Prior to Arkansas
Barclay won silver in the 50 free at the 2019 British Swimming Championships in Glasgow, just behind World Championship finalist and Arkansas school record holder Anna Hopkin… Barclay represented Great Britain at the World University Games in Napoli last summer and her best times converted to short course are a 21.97 in the 50 free, 49.16 in the 100 free and 23.44 in the 50 fly.

Born on September 4, 1997… Daughter of Mark Barclay and Samantha Fleming… Has one brother Arran Barclay… Mastering in kinesiology.
