Appeared in 45 games with 29 starts, primarily at first base … Hit .299 with 35 hits, three doubles, three home runs and 15 RBIs … Also walked 13 times and tallied a .402 slugging percentage with a .379 on-base percentage … Made only three errors in 221 chances for a .986 fielding percentage … Played in 26 SEC games and had a .277 batting average against league opponents, nearly 40 points higher than his freshman year … Had nine multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games … Had a 10-game hitting streak from March 9 vs. Kent State to March 24 at Florida, hitting 14-for-29 (.483) during that span with four straight multi-hit games and two games with four or more RBIs … Set career-highs with five RBIs and two home runs, including a grand slam against Kent State (March 11) after coming in to pinch hit in the seventh inning … Went 2-for-4 with four RBIs the next game (vs. Texas – March 13) and tacked on two more RBIs in the next two games (vs. Texas – March 14; vs. Kentucky – March 16) to finish with 11 RBIs over a 14 at-bat span … Notched a career-high three hits in a 3-for-4 game against Alabama (April 29), all singles.
