In his first appearance of the spring he secured the clincher in the final singles match to upset No. 5 Baylor (Feb. 1) … Howard-Tripp won the first set, 6-3, but then dropped the next nine games to Ryan Dickerson … He fought back in the final set and ended up winning the tie breaker, 7-4 … Closed out the season with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins at the No. 2 spot against Pine-Bluff … Teamed with Hunter Harrison to win at the No. 1 spot against Pine-Bluff to close out the doubles season.

Earned three wins at the No. 1 spot during the dual meet season … Picked up a win over No. 57 Juan Pablo Mazzuchi of UCF on Jan. 19 in straight sets … teamed primarily with Alex Reco in doubles, notching three wins on the tour and in dual meets.
