Senior (2016-17)
Wrapped up senior campaign going 16-23 overall in singles, 10-15 in dual matches… went 3-1 in doubles competition in dual competition, when paired with Jose Salazar, including a 2-0 mark at No. 2 doubles … won each of his first three singles matches, all at No. 6 singles … combined with Jose Salazar for a 6-4 win over the Illinois team of Gui Gomes and Alex Jesse at No. 1 doubles … won seven straight games to erase a 5-0 deficit in the second set of a 6-2, 7-5 win over Tennessee’s Luca Widenmann at No. 6 singles … went 4-0 in singles and combined with Jacob Herndon for a 4-0 record in doubles at the UTSA Cup in the fall … finished fall play 6-8 in singles and 5-4 in doubles … defeated the field’s highest ranked player, No. 26 Mate Cutura from Mississippi State, at the SEC Coaches Classic.
Junior (2015-16)
Finished with a 4-3 singles dual record, including a 1-1 mark in SEC play … notched two singles victories in one day during a quad match vs. Jackson State on Feb. 20 … defeated Vanderbilt’s Tate Allwardt 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 6 spot, earning the clinching point for the Razorbacks in their 5-2 win over the Commodores … finished with a 3-0 doubles dual record, two victories with David Herrerias and one with Adam Sanjurjo … finished with a 5-4 singles record and 3-3 doubles mark in the fall.
Sophomore (2014-15)
Claimed 6 dual singles wins playing primarily in the No. 5 and 6 spots in Spring 2015 … closed out the season with back-to-back singles wins against SEC opponents … played in four tournaments in Fall 2014 to claim a 4-4 singles and a 2-5 doubles record.
Freshman (2013-14)
Recorded five singles wins in 2014 … made appearances in two SEC matches … recorded a 2-2 doubles record with partner, senior Christian Lee.
High School
Ranked No. 90 in ITF Juniors … made the semi-finals for the Costa Rica Bowl grade 1 in 2012 in singles play and in doubles made it to the semi-finals in Bolivia B1.
Personal
Born January 15, 1995 in Barranquilla, Colombia … son of Juan Marino and Carmen Arevalo … chose Arkansas because of the atmosphere of the campus and the level of competition in the SEC … majoring in industrial engineering.
