Palsha had three top-2 finishes, beating her time from the season opener in the 200 yard IM(2:04:08) and winning the 500 yard freestyle (4:52.10)…she earned three individual first-place finishes, and earned two second place finishes, with a time of 10:06.85 in the 1000 yard freestyle and a time of 4:23.03 in the 400 yard IM… won her heat in the 400 yard IM (4:12.97), setting a season-best time by 10 seconds…she set a season-best in the 1650 freestyle (16:32.44), earning a second-place finish at the Mizzou Invite… She clocked in a season-best time in the 1000 yard freestyle (9:53.82), just 0.28 seconds away from setting a lifetime best and in the SEC Championship Palsha recorded a season-best time of 16:22.97 to earn a 14th place finish and an NCAA ‘B’ cut. at the NCAA Last Chance-set a personal best in the 1650 yard freestyle, with a time of 16:04.22 coming in as the fourth-fastest time in program history and earning an NCAA ‘B’ cut yet again… Palsha finished the season with 14 first place finishes, nine second place finishes and three third place finishes with a total of 249.00 points.

Recorded five personal-best times with three being at the SEC Championship in the 500 Free (4:43.05), 1650 Free (16.12.53), and 400 IM (4:11.41) … the other two coming at the Art Adamson Invite in the 200 Breast (2:17.63), earning a (B) cut time, and the Tri-Meet against Houston and Vanderbilt in the 100 Breast (1:07.49) … qualified for the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championship where she finished 20th overall in the 1650 Free (16:14.71) and 37th in the 500 Free (4:43.19) … recorded the top time on the team in the 1000 Free (9:58.67) and the 500 Free (4:45.02).

Competed at U.S. Olympic Trials in the 400 and 800 freestyles … Worlds Trials qualifier during her senior season … qualified for Senior Nationals in 200, 400, 800 and 1500 free and in the 400 IM … qualified for Junior Nationals in 200, 400, 800 and 1500 free, as well as the 100 and 200 breast and 200 and 400 IM … holds the St. Petersburg High School record in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 200 IM, 200 free relay and the 200 IM relay … finished second at the 2016 FHSAA State Championships in the 200 IM and 500 free … finished third in the 2015 FHSAA State Championships in the 200 free and 500 free … touched third in the 200 free in the 2014 FHSAA State Championships and fourth in the 500 free … finished sixth during her freshman year at the 2013 FHSAA State Championships in the 200 free and made the semifinals in the 100 breast.
