2014 | Sophomore
Started all 55 games of the season including 52 in center field…led Arkansas with 63 hits and four triples…second on the team with .348 batting average and nine doubles…registered a team-high 19 multi-hit games including four three-hit performances…five multi-RBI games…scored two or more runs in 10 games…registered a three-hit, three-RBI effort with first home run of the season in series finale against No. 20/17 Texas A&M (March 30)… perfect 10-for-10 in stolen bases…had two stolen bases at No. 4 Alabama (April 5)…was 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in that game…2014 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2013 | Freshman
Stephanie Canfield had an excellent freshman season. She hit for a UA single season record .381. She was tied for first on the team with 56 hits and has helped spark a great Razorback offense. Her best game came against Murray State, going 4-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBI. She also went 3-for-4 against Utah with a triple and an RBI. She followed the Utah game with another triple against Weber State. Canfield also played an excellent outfield and took away many hits last season. The freshman hit .636 in the NCAA Regional to push her to No. 1 all-time in the UA single-season record books.
High School
Canfield carried a 4.2 GPA at St. Joseph Ogden High School in St. Joseph, Ill. She is a four year letter winner for the Spartans and held a career batting average of .561. Canfield became the Illinois High School Association all-time career hit and run leader with 277 hits 233 runs in spring 2012.
Personal
Born on May 30, 1994. Her parents are Doug and Susan Canfield and she has a brother, Shane (18). While her major is undecided she wants to help people and impact their lives upon graduation. She lists her favorite athlete as David Freese.
