Schultz Claims Spot at NCAA Championship

AUSTIN, Texas- Brooke Schultz will get the opportunity to defend her 3-meter national title at the NCAA Championships after earning a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Zone ‘D’ Diving Championships.

Schultz and fellow sophomore Maha Amer are the lone Razorbacks competing at the event, with both advancing to the final round. Amer earned an eighth-place finish in the preliminary round with a score of 327.85, while Schultz earned a 13th place finish with a score of 318.70.

In the final round, Amer finished in 16th place (622.35) while Schultz punched her ticket to the NCAA Championship with a score of 698.65.

Competition will continue in Austin, Texas tomorrow, with the 1-meter scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
