Second Meeting of Hogs and Rebs Set for Wednesday
For the third time in four matches, the No. 10 Razorbacks face another road test as the Hogs take on the Ole Miss Rebels for the second time this season on Wednesday.
Arkansas heads into the match as a top 10 team as the Hogs reentered the club in the latest coaches poll on Monday. The Razorbacks have now been ranked the entire season – the first time since 1999 – and have been in the top 10 for four of 13 polls.
The Hogs are currently 22-4, 12-2 in conference. The Rebels sit at 10-16 with a 4-11 record in SEC play. The Rebels have been away from home the last two matches and haven’t played in Oxford since Nov. 1.
Wednesday’s contest is set for 7 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on SEC Network.
Scouting the Series: Ole Miss
- Wednesday is the second meeting between the Razorbacks and Rebels this season, Arkansas swept Ole Miss the first go-around in Fayetteville
- The Rebs have back-to-back ranked matches on the schedule, coming off an away contest at then-No. 10 Tennessee
- The two teams are closest matched on defense, with Ole Miss at No. 8 (2.17) and Arkansas at No. 9 (2.12) in blocks/set in the SEC
