Seven Razorbacks, men’s team earn All-Academic honor

NEW ORLEANS – Seven members of the Razorback men’s track and field team earned All-Academic honors from United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). In addition, Arkansas received an All-Academic team honor.

Receiving the individual accolades were Etamar Bhastekar (Economics), Tyler Brendel (Statistics and Analytics, Business Analytics), Jeremy Farr (Mathematics), Luke George (Finance), Cameron Griffith (Kinesiology: Exercise Science), James Milholen (Political Science), and Matt Young (Accounting).

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have met athletic standards. With this season truncated due to the coronavirus, the athletic standards were limited to the indoor season where student-athletes needed to finish the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 in a relay event.
