Soccer Returns Home with Exciting Promotions
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — After 19 days and three road matches away from Razorback Field, Arkansas soccer returns home this weekend and there are numerous exciting promotions in store for fans. The Razorbacks begin SEC play with Tennessee coming to town on Friday night, followed by non-conference opponent UMKC on Sunday evening.
Friday, Sept. 11 vs. Tennessee Volunteers – 7 p.m.
• $1 Hot Dog Night
• First 200 fans receive a Razorback Soccer shield magnet
• International students march to Razorback Stadium
Sunday, Sept. 13 vs. UMKC ‘Roos – 6:30 p.m.
• Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night: First 200 receive a 2015 Razorback Soccer scarf
• Camper Reunion Night: All summer soccer campers are invited back
• Post-match autographs with the Razorbacks
Arkansas began its season 2-0-0 at home with back-to-back wins over Stephen F. Austin and TCU. Against the Horned Frogs, a record-breaking crowd of 2,337 cheered the Razorbacks on victory, as Claire Kelley knocked in the game-winner in the 82nd minute for a 1-0 win. After the match, head coach Colby Hale called it “one of the best atmospheres in the country,” while Kelley commented that “the crowd was a game changer for sure.”
Fans can purchase tickets in advance by calling the Razorback Ticket Center at 479-575-5151. The $25 season ticket package includes admission to all home games and a 2015 Razorback Soccer scarf. Tickets can also be purchased at the Razorback Field box office, which opens one hour before kickoff on game days.
