Christopher M. Bader, Ph.D., LP, CMPC - Associate AD, Mental Health & Performance | ADID

Dr. Christopher (Chris) Bader was named Assistant Athletic Director for Mental Health & Performance at the University of Arkansas in July of 2019. He was elevated to Associate AD, Mental Health & Performance | ADID in 2023. Prior to his time in here, he spent seven years at the University of Colorado and five years at the University of Oklahoma as a psychologist and sport psychologist in those athletic departments. Chris earned his bachelor’s degree (B.S., Psychology) at LSU, his master’s degree (M.S., Psychology) at Louisiana Lafayette, and his doctorate (Ph.D., Counseling Psychology, Sport & Exercise Psychology concentration) at the University of North Texas.

Jordan McDowell, LCSW- Mental Health & Performance Clinician

Jordan started working for the Clinical and Sport Psychology team in August of 2017 as a graduate intern. Following graduating with her master’s she transitioned to be an hourly clinician and then was hired on as a full-time clinician in March of 2019. She is a native of Arkansas and received both her undergraduate (B.S., Psychology) and master’s (M.A., Social Work) degrees from the University of Arkansas.

 

 

KC Cross, M.S., LPC - Mental Health & Performance Clinician

KC was hired in October of 2019 to become a member of the MHP staff after spending time in the counseling centers at the University of Arkansas and the University of Wisconsin. KC is an Arkansas native who earned an associate degree (A.A., Psychology) from Moberly Area Community College & a Bachelor’s degree (B.S., Psychology) from Columbia College while competing on the Greyhound & Cougar basketball teams, respectively.  KC received a master’s degree (M.S., Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from the University of Arkansas.
