Spring Soccer Match With Mississippi State Cancelled
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ spring soccer exhibition match at Mississippi State on Sunday has been cancelled due to the inclement weather forecast over the weekend in Starkville. There are no plans to make up the game at this time.
Arkansas still has three spring matches on the slate for 2019. On March 9, the Toronto Blizzard will face off with Arkansas as the only home match of the spring schedule.
Then, on March 30, Arkansas will travel north to Kansas City, Missouri to face Kansas State at Swope Park, located approximately 20 minutes southeast of downtown Kansas City.
Arkansas will finish the spring slate on Sunday, April 14 when it travels to Conway, Arkansas to take on the Ole Miss Rebels at Hendrix College.
Arkansas is coming off a 14-win season from a year ago, which included an opportunity to host the first round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history. It was the 10th 10-win season in school history and fourth under head coach Colby Hale. The Razorbacks went 10-0-1 at home last year, marking the first season in school history an Arkansas team has gone unbeaten at home.
