Stewart Named to Baseball America National Team of the Week

HOOVER, Ala. – Zack Stewart was named to Baseball America’s National Team of the Week after blasting three homers and driving in six runs in Arkansas’ series win at Kentucky.

The Razorback right fielder slashed .545/.643/1.545 with a team-leading five runs scored and a team-best six hits, including two doubles and his three long balls, to go along with his team-high six RBI. Stewart, who homered in all three games of the weekend series, saved his best for the regular-season finale on May 16, finishing 4-for-6 with two runs scored, two doubles and a home run in Arkansas’ series-clinching 16-12 win against Kentucky.

Stewart is the third Hog to earn a weekly honor from Baseball America this season. Camden Kozeal was named to Baseball America’s National Team of the Week for Week 2, while Kuhio Aloy garnered the publication’s weekly recognition for Week 12.

Baseball America’s honor roll features one player at every position, including the top-performing two-way player, and four pitchers. It also includes a designated hitter spot, which serves as a wild card to recognize an outstanding performer at any position, regardless of whether he served as a designated hitter that week.
