#StrongLikeHudson; Share Acts of Kindness

FAYETTEVILLE – February 13 is a special day for the Arkansas men’s golf program.

The date is the birthday of Hudson LaMar Lais, the son of Razorback associate head coach Barret Lais and Jessica Lais. Hudson was born in 2011 but passed away in March 2016 due to a brain injury that led to a severe form of cerebral palsy.

The last family trip the Lais family was able to experience was one provided by the Make-A-Wish foundation. In turn, the Lais family annually raises money to help make those same dreams come true for others through the Make-A-Wish foundation.

“Hudson was always smiling,” said Barrett Lais. His wife Jessica added, “he just exuded happiness.”

This year, the Lais family is asking everyone to spread “happies” and posting those acts of kindness on social media with the hashtag #StrongLikeHudson.

  • Spread “Happy” by an act of kindness:
From opening the door for a stranger to buying someone coffee or taking flowers to a nursing home, the more creative the better. Just make someone smile and tell them why.
  • With your “Happy”, Give this card:
