Alisha Curtis joined the Razorback Foundation as Director of Development for the Little Rock office in January 2024. Curtis is tasked with managing a portfolio of Razorback Foundation members in the central Arkansas area while growing the Foundation’s Annual Fund and capital campaigns.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Curtis was a private bank advisor for Arvest Bank where she provided concierge banking services to private clients. Prior to that she was the Chief of Communications and Legislative Affairs for the Arkansas Department of Commerce. Additionally, she served as finance director for the Arkansas Republican Party before becoming a founding member of Governor Asa Hutchinson’s administration, including director of operations and special assistant to the Governor.
Alisha organized Governor Hutchinson’s 2015 inaugural celebration and served on the planning committee for “A New Day in Arkansas” Inaugural Ball. For his second term, she served as the 2019 Inaugural Events Director for “Together for Success” Inauguration raising over $1-million and executing 10 inaugural events.
Alisha’s work in Government wasn’t the only way she engaged in helping Arkansas residents. She is active in the community and passionate about charitable work. She was named the 2019 Woman of the Year in Philanthropy for the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas. In 2018 she was honored at the Taste of the Finest event benefitting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Arkansas and won the Todd Miles award for raising $33,000 for the charity. She competed in “Dancing With Our Stars” in September 2019 and took home the mirror ball trophy for best performance and raised over $50,000 for the Arkansas Children’s Tumor Foundation.
Through her professional and personal efforts, she was named to several honorary lists including Women to Watch in 2020 by Little Rock Soiree Magazine, Future 50 by Arkansas Money & Politics, and Arkansas Business’s 40 under 40.
An Arkansas native, Alisha is proud to have attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Broadcast TV News and Journalism from the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
