Carter Mumm joined the Razorback women’s basketball staff in October of 2025 as the special assistant to head coach Kelsi Musick and video coordinator.
Prior to Arkansas, Mumm was an assistant coach and director of scouting and video for one season at SMU.
Mumm is a 2021 graduate of Iowa State. During his undergraduate years in Ames, Mumm served as a student manager for the Iowa State women’s basketball team. After one season as a graduate manager at Illinois State in 2021-22, when he assisted in a MVC Tournament win and NCAA Tournament berth, he returned to Ames as a graduate assistant.
Mumm headed back to Illinois State in 2023-24 as a graduate manager and helped guide the Redbirds to a record of 21-12 and a second-round trip in the WNIT.
In the summer, Mumm serves as a coach for All-Iowa Attack, one of 32 Nike Girls EYBL-sponsored programs.
