Cate Decker

Joined the Razorback softball staff in 2016 as a part of the team management staff. Decker assists with day-to-day operations that include equipment inventory, team laundry and practice set-up and break down. She also assists at practice, helping shag balls during batting practice or catching for the pitching staff during bullpens.

During the summer of 2019, Decker worked with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals as a game day intern. With the Naturals, she helped execute on-field promotions, front-gate giveaways and game day set up. Decker also lent a hand in the ballpark’s youth clinic and mascot events.

Her favorite part about working in athletics is giving fans an experience at a sporting event that they will never forget and plans to work in professional sports in the marketing department.

Decker’s sport management experience dates back to 2013, since then she has volunteered her time at the Boys and Girls Club, Chelsea Piers Sports and Entertainment Complex, Fitness Edge Club and Greenwich Youth Flag Football League.

Born August 16 in Greenwich, Connecticut, Decker’s older brother Bob Decker is a former Arkansas football player (2015-17). She is currently majoring in sports management and minoring in marketing at Arkansas.
