Corey Wood

Corey Wood is entering his seventh season with the Razorback baseball program as the team’s athletic trainer.

Wood joined Razorbacks as part of the athletic training staff in June 2011. He spent the previous two years working with Wichita State as a graduate assistant trainer.

While working with WSU’s baseball team, he was responsible for the Shockers’ day-to-day injury prevention and rehabilitation. Wood also served as the host athletic trainer for the 2011 Missouri Valley Conference baseball tournament and was an intern for the WSU strength and conditioning staff for a year.

Prior to WSU, Wood worked as an intern with the Cleveland Indians through their spring training in 2009. He also directed the aquatic therapy sessions as well as oversaw the strength activities of the year.

Wood earned his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in May of 2008 and his master’s degree in May of 2011 from Wichita State.

Wood is married to the former Laura Mosely and they have a daughter named Ryleigh.
