Remy Cofield

Remy Cofield serves as Deputy Athletics Director and General Manager for the University of Arkansas, where he oversees revenue sharing and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) operations across Razorback Athletics. In this role, he manages contract negotiations and distribution, supports long-term financial planning for student-athlete compensation, and helps shape policies and processes in an evolving collegiate athletics environment.

Cofield works closely with head coaches, sport administrators, and university leadership to support roster management and program planning. His responsibilities include advising on recruiting strategy, transfer portal activity, and retention planning, as well as assisting coaches in aligning roster decisions with budget parameters and regulatory requirements. He is also involved in building collaborative frameworks that connect coaching staffs, compliance, and university administration.

Prior to Arkansas, Cofield spent 12 seasons with the Boston Celtics in various basketball operations roles, including Director of Scouting for the Boston Celtics and General Manager of the Maine Celtics their G-League affiliate. In these roles, he contributed to player evaluation, roster planning, and organizational decision-making across both the NBA and G League levels. During his tenure, he helped construct a roster that won an NBA world championship in 2024.

A native of Boston, Massachusetts, Cofield played collegiate basketball at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA in Business Analytics from Bentley University. He brings a blend of professional basketball experience, analytical training, and administrative leadership to his work in collegiate athletics.

Cofield and his wife, Tori, have three sons—Mason, Dominic, and Quincy.
