Swenson Earns CoSIDA Academic Honor

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas junior Keiryn Swenson earned selection to the 2017-18 College of Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-District First-Team, the organization announced today.

Swenson has a 4.0 grade point average in accounting and is on track to graduate in three years. She is the first Razorback selected to the All-District team since Calli Berna earned first-team honors in 2012-13. Swenson is the seventh different student-athlete from Arkansas to be selected and her honor is the 10th overall for the Razorbacks.

Swenson is a Wichita, Kan., native and was selected to the Southeastern Conference’s Community Service Team earlier this week. She has played in 26 games this season and averages 4.5 points per contest. Swenson’s name goes on the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.

The Razorbacks host No. 17 Texas A&M in the final home game of the regular season tonight at 7 p.m. The game airs live online on the SECN+.
