Tailgating Spots Available in The Gardens for USC Game

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Razorback fans have a new place to tailgate on campus at The Gardens located just south of Bud Walton Arena next to Razorback Road. The Gardens was created and built though the generosity of former Razorback football players Jerry Jones and Jim Lindsey.

The Gardens consists of one (1) pavilion for up to 150 plus people and five (5) 50-person gazebos which can be rented on a game-by-game basis. There are also 124 individual tailgate parking spots on the grass in The Gardens. These include a parking spot and an adjacent 15 feet by 12 feet tailgate area. The individual tailgate spots are rented on a season basis.

A limited number of individual tailgate spots remain for the season and there is one (1) gazebo available for the Sept. 2 game vs. Southern California.

While the pavilion, gazebos and the reserved tailgate spots are rented spaces, any Razorback fan can come and enjoy the atmosphere in The Gardens. A large grass area in the center of The Gardens is available for use by anyone at no cost on gamedays. Access to The Gardens exists off Razorback Road just inside lot 56 south of The Gardens and to the north off Leroy Pond Road.

“If you can carry it or pull it, we recommend everyone come tailgate in The Gardens,” said Matt Shanklin, Associate Athletic Director for Marketing. “Mr. Jones and Mr. Lindsey’s vision of a centralized grass area for Razorback fans to come together before games has been realized with The Gardens. Whether you rent a space or gazebo or just bring you chair, pop tent and cooler, The Gardens is destined to become a great place for Razorbacks fans”
