Thomas wins Mt. SAC 200m, Mwaura produces 10,000m PR

WALNUT, California – Razorback Asia Thomas won the Collegiate 200m at the Mt. SAC Relays on Friday with a career best time of 23.33 seconds. Josphine Mwaura produced a career best of 32:58.71 to place seventh in the 10,000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Thursday evening.

Mwaura ranks No. 8 on the UA all-time list as she improved upon her previous best of 34:11.33 set in 2025.

Thomas raced into a -2.0 head wind in producing her victory over a 23.60 by Aji Mbye of San Diego State and a 23.75 for Iowa State’s Rachel Joseph.

Arkansas closed out the day at Hilmer Lodge Stadium with a 3:33.12 victory in the 4 x 400m relay with a foursome of Abigail Campbell, Amirah Sharpe [1:45.50], Rae-Anne Serville (54.38), and Arianna Sharpe (53.25).

The Razorbacks bettered the field by nearly six full seconds with UC Irvine runner-up at 3:39.01.

Rae-Anne Serville posted a time of 58.21 as runner-up in her section of the 400m hurdles and placed fourth overall in the Collegiate division.

Freshman sprinter Ryan Jennings won both of her sections in the 100m (11.74) and 200m (24.15).
