Three #ProHogs Earn PGA TOUR Cards

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A trio of former Razorbacks earned their PGA TOUR cards over the weekend as #ProHogs continue to dominate on the links.

Card In Hand
A long WebDotCom Tour regular season came to a close on Sunday with the top 25 players on the money list earning PGA TOUR cards for the 2017-18 season. Andrew Landry sat atop the money list for the last five weeks and ended the season at No. 4, while Austin Cook finished 15th and Ethan Tracy claimed one of the final two cards at No. 24. Arkansas was the only collegiate program to have three former players inside the top 25 on the money list.

Lingmerth Extends Run In FedExCup Playoffs
David Lingmerth extended his PGA TOUR season on Sunday, finishing T-29th at the Northern Trust to play his way into the top 100 in the FedExCup standings and advance to next week’s Dell Technologies Championship at TPC Boston. The former Razorback will look to continue his climb up the standings and make his way into the top 70 after next weekend’s event to qualify for the BWA Championship.

Eight Straight Birdies
Taylor Moore entered Sunday’s final round at the Portland Open on the WebDotCom Tour at even par for the championship and needing to make a charge. After a birdie on the first hole and a par at the second, Moore went on a run for the ages, making eight straight birdies to get to 9-under. He went on to birdie the 12th hole to push it to double digits under par before signing for an 8-under 63 and the low round of the day.

The Journey Continues
Taylor Moore finished on the outside looking in for his PGA TOUR card, but has qualified for the WebDotCom Finals and will have the opportunity to earn one of 25 additional tour cards to be handed out over the next four weeks, starting with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship in Columbus, Ohio, next weekend.

Arkansas Opens 2017-18 Season This Weekend
