Three Straight on the Road Begins at Mizzou

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Set to face the same opponent for the second time in a span of nine days, the Razorback volleyball team continues Southeastern Conference play Sunday afternoon with a road match at Missouri. First serve of the match is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. (CT) at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Missouri, and will be streaming live on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

With her third kill against Texas A&M in the team’s last outing, senior co-captain Danielle Harbin became the 32nd player in program history to record 500 career kills. She finished that outing with a match-high 13 kills and enters the weekend having reached double figures in 12 of 16 matches this season. Harbin is currently ranked third in the SEC with 3.97 kills per set.

With 14 matches remaining, seniors Barbara Dapic and Breana Jones are also on pace to hit the 500-kills milestone. Dapic heads into Sunday’s match 24 kills shy of the mark while Jones needs 72 kills to join the club. Senior Ana Sofia Jusino, the Razorbacks’ active career leader in total blocks, is just six shy of joining the program’s top-15 list. Sophomore libero Okiana Valle needs 17 digs to move into Arkansas’ top 20 for career digs.

Arkansas will be looking to break a five-match skid against the Tigers which includes a Sept. 30 loss in Fayetteville. In that match, Jusino and Jones combined for 15 kills out of the middle. Overall, Missouri carries an 8-3 lead in the all-time series, and has won five of the six meeting since joining the SEC prior to the 2012 season. The Razorbacks will also be seeking their first win in Columbia.
