Transfer Arina Babenko Signs with Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Head coach Tucker Clary has officially announced the signing of UTSA transfer Arina Babenko for the 2025-26 Razorbacks women’s tennis season.

The Omsk, Russia native joins the Hogs after spending her junior year at UTSA. Babenko earned overall records of 16-1 in singles and 9-4 in doubles while primarily competing on court five in singles and court two in doubles throughout the dual season.

Babenko started her college career at Cowley College in Kansas, competing at the junior college level in 2023 and 2024. In the final ITA NJCAA National Rankings in 2024, Babenko finished second, ending the season with a 19-7 record in singles. She reached the finals of the regional championships in both singles and doubles during her freshman campaign. Cowley College won the 2024 NJCAA National Championship, with Babenko playing a crucial role in the team’s triumph.
