Trio of Razorbacks Head East for the ITA All-American Championships

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Members of the Arkansas women’s tennis team start their fall season at the ITA All-American Championships. The event runs Sept. 20-28 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.

In the singles Round of 256, Anet Koskel will start competition for the Hogs facing off against Johanna Strom from Marshall University on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. CT.

In the afternoon, Katarina Pavlechova will take the court in singles action against SEC foe Deniz Dilek from the University of Georgia at 1:30 p.m.

To cap off the day, No. 78 Carolina Gomez and Koskel will take the court against Monika Ekstrand and Valerie Glozman from Stanford University in the doubles Round of 32 at 3:30 p.m..

The prequalifying rounds for the ITA All-American Championships are Sept. 20-21. Qualifying rounds run on Monday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Sept. 23. The main draw will then begin on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and continue through Sunday, Sept. 28.

At the ITA All-American Championships, 10 singles players (eight main draw quarterfinalists & two feed-in consolation finalists) and four doubles teams (four main draw semifinalists) will qualify for the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships.

Results will be available on the tournament website, and you can view matches in court-by-court format via live stream on the PlaySight website.
