Tusk IV Retirement Celebration Set For Saturday

Tusk IV has served as the official Arkansas Razorbacks live mascot for eight years and will officially retire at the end of the 2018-19 competitive year.

Baum-Walker Stadium will host his official retirement celebration on Saturday. Razorback fans will have the opportunity to visit Tusk IV inside Gate A of Baum-Walker Stadium beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday before the Hogs take on LSU. Fans are encouraged to stop by and sign a special banner, which will be presented to his caretakers Keith and Julie Stokes during a special recognition which will take place during the game.

As a part of his reign, Tusk IV has made over 200 appearances including education and charity events, Razorback Foundation club meetings, community parades plus state capital appearances. His favorite activities include playing in mud holes on sunny days plus enjoying snacks of all kinds including fresh grapes at Razorback Athletics events.

Tusk IV and Lulla Belle welcomed Tusk V into the family in April 2018. Tusk V will officially take over in August at the start of the Razorbacks’ Football season.
