Tu'ua Named SEC Freshman of the Week

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas forward Vailana Tu’ua was named SEC Freshman of the Week after scoring a pair of goals in the ninth-ranked Razorbacks’ 3-2 win at Florida, the league announced on Monday.

Last week, Tu’ua netted her first collegiate goal in the 34th minute and followed it up with her second 55 seconds later. The latter ended up being the game-winner. She is the first Razorback to record a brace this season.

Tu’ua and the Hogs will return to Razorback Field for the SEC home opener on Thursday, September 19. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. and the match will be streamed on SEC Network+.
