Two in the Lone Star State Up Next for Razorbacks
Arkansas volleyball will have its two toughest tests in conference play so far this weekend as the Hogs travel to Texas and take on the Longhorns and A&M Aggies.
Texas, currently 5-0 in its first SEC season and 10-3 overall, is coming off a back-to-back national championship and the Longhorns have dropped just one set in league play so far. That set was won by A&M – the Aggies are 3-2 in the SEC and 12-3 overall to Arkansas’ 4-0, 14-2 records.
The Longhorns and Hogs have faced off only twice ever, both losses for Arkansas, and the last in 2000. Arkansas and Texas A&M have played 18 times dating back to 2012, and the series is tied 9-9, 4-4 in College Station.
Friday’s contest in Austin is set for 8 p.m. and will be streamed live on SEC Network+. The Razorbacks and Aggies will play on Sunday at 2 p.m. in College Station, also available on SEC Network+.
