
Two-time NCAA Division II champion Dapriest Hogans joins Razorbacks
FAYETTEVILLE – Dapriest Hogans, a two-time NCAA Division II champion in the 200m while at Pittsburg State, will join the Razorback program for the 2025-26 season.
In addition to his pair of 200m titles, Hogans is a 10-time NCAA Division II first-team All-America. He earned honors in the 60m, 100m, 200m, 4 x 100m relay, and 4 x 400m relay over four NCAA meets in the past two years.
Hogans led Pittsburg State to a sweep of four NCAA Division II team titles during his two seasons in 2024 and 2025. He has produced personal best times of 10.13 in the 100m, along with a wind-aided 9.96, 20.36 in the 200m, with a windy 20.11, and a 46.85 in the 400m.
The 9.96w came in the prelims of the 2025 NCAA Division II Championships held last month. Then Hogans posted a 9.99w for a bronze medal in the final. He delivered the 20.11w in the NCAA prelims of the 200m and claimed the final in 20.39w. Hogans ran third leg (45.85 split) on the winning 4 x 400m relay (3:03.95).
During the 2025 MIAA Conference Championships, Hogans won the 100m (10.13), 200m (20.42), and ran on winning 4 x 100m relay (39.49).
Indoors, Hogans claimed silver in the 2025 NCAA Division II 200m in 20.64 and ran first leg on the winning 4 x 400m relay. At the MIAA Indoor conference meet, Hogans won the 200m (20.82), placed second in the 60m (6.69, 6.65 prelim), and ran on the winning 4 x 400m relay.
In 2024, he won 200m title at NCAA Division II Outdoor with a 20.38w and placed fourth in the 100m with a 10.13w after posting a 10.08w in the prelims. Also ran on fifth-place 4 x 100m relay. Member of winning 4 x 400m relay at NCAA Division II Indoor and finished seventh in the 60m final.
Prior to Pittsburg State, Hogans competed at Hinds CC and graduated from Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana.
At Hinds, Hogans swept 100m and 200m titles at the 2023 NJCAA Championships. He claimed the 100m title in 10.22 after a 10.12w in the prelims and won the 200m in 20.50 after a 20.22w in the prelims.
In his senior year of high school, Hogans earned silver in the 200m and bronze in the 100m at the Louisiana 3A State meet.
