Verboven Inks With Arkansas Tennis
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s tennis team welcomed its newest member in Maxim Verboven of Overpelt, Belgium as part of National Signing Period Friday.
Verboven earned a career high ITF Ranking of 860 last year, and is currently 4-4 in singles matches in 2018. Verboven is the son of Stefan and Silvia Verboven and has one brother, Laurens. His brother Laurens is a member of the USC men’s tennis team.
The Razorbacks return eight players from last year’s squad, including the addition of Hunter Harrison and Enrique Paya from Mississippi State and UCF, respectively. Arkansas will return to the court in January for the season’s first dual matches.
