
Weather Forecast Forces Postponement Of Semifinals
ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Due to weather forecasts calling for heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Orange Beach area on Thursday, both matches of the SEC Tournament semifinals have been postponed and will be played on Friday.
Four-seed Arkansas was scheduled to play eight-seed Florida at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, but will now play at Noon on Friday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The game will still be televised on the SEC Network.
Arkansas advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinals for the third-straight year last night, defeating five-seed Ole Miss, 4-0, after a three-goal barrage in the opening seven minutes of the match. The shutout was the Razorbacks’ seventh of the year and third of its last four results.
