FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Former Texas Tech utility player and First-Team All-Big 12 performer Kailey Wyckoff has transferred to Arkansas to join Head Coach Courtney Deifel and the Razorbacks.
Wyckoff was outstanding for the Red Raiders in her two seasons in Lubbock, first earning Big 12 Freshman of the Year and Freshman All-America honors in 2023 before following up this past season by hitting .407 with 12 doubles, seven home runs and a career-high 35 RBI to earn First-Team All-Big 12 accolades. The lefty played all over the field during her sophomore campaign, seeing action at catcher, first base, left field and right field over her 50 games played, including 49 starts.
The Katy, Texas native burst onto the scene as a true freshman in 2023 becoming just the second individual conference award winner in Texas Tech history along with earning Second-Team All-Big 12 recognition. She finished her first season hitting .393 with a .740 slugging percentage thanks to 17 doubles, nine home runs and five triples. She drove in 31 runs and posted 14 multi-hit games with 10 multi-RBI games.
