10 Things To Know – Texas A&M
After closing out the non-conference portion of its 2026 schedule with a dominant 34-6 win against Tulsa at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Arkansas hits the road for a showdown against longtime rival Texas A&M. Kickoff between the Razorbacks and Aggies from Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, on ESPN2.
1 – Saturday’s matchup will be the 82nd meeting between the programs, with Arkansas leading the all-time series 42-37-3. Texas A&M carries a four-game series winning streak into the contest as the Razorbacks are looking for their first win since a 20-10 triumph over the Aggies on Sept. 25, 2021. The Hogs hold a 17-16-1 all-time advantage over the Aggies in games played in College Station.
2 – QB KJ Jackson is one of two SEC quarterbacks this season, along with LSU QB Sam Leavitt, to throw for 300-plus yards with multiple rushing scores in a game. He is also one of five nationally to do so this season.
3 – Through the first four games of the season, Arkansas has recorded 50 passing plays of 10 or more yards, good for second most among SEC teams and 10th most among FBS teams.
4 – WR Chris Marshall hauled in nine passes for a career-high 195 yards and a touchdown in the Hogs’ win over Tulsa. It marked the seventh-most receiving yards in a single game in program history and the sixth-most receiving yards in a game nationally this season.
5 – Arkansas ranks 10th nationally in time of possession per game, averaging 33:48 per contest.
6 – RB Cam Settles earned his first career start in the win against Tulsa on Sept. 26. The Little Rock product rushed for a team-leading 40 yards on 11 carries (3.6 ypc) and caught six passes for 20 yards. Through four games, Settles has totaled 70 rushing yards on 20 attempts (team-best 3.5 ypc) and is tied for second on the Razorbacks in receptions with 10.
7 – K Max Gilbert ranks fourth among active FBS players in points per game, averaging 8.3 points a contest. Gilbert tied a career high going 4-4 on field goals while also making both his extra-point attempts in the Hogs’ 34-6 win over Tulsa the last time out. It marked his fifth career 14+ point game and his first since a 15-point performance on Sept. 6, 2025, during a win over East Tennessee State while he was at Tennessee.
8 – The Razorbacks’ 236 consecutive extra-points made streak, which began on Dec. 5, 2020, is the longest streak nationally by date.
9 – LB Ben Bogle registered his first career FBS start and sack in the win over Tulsa. He arrived in Fayetteville before the 2026 season after spending 2025 at West Virginia following his 2022-2024 seasons at Southern Illinois. The Ponte Vedra, Fla., product is the Hogs’ active career leader in tackles (175), tackles for loss (27.0) and sacks (11.5).
10 – Through four games this season, WR Chris Marshall has 28 receptions for 473 yards and a touchdown. His 473 receiving yards through four games are the most by an Arkansas pass catcher since WR Jarius Wright began his 2011 campaign with 478 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 28 catches.
