14 Gymbacks Named WCGA Scholar All-Americans

Following an impressive showing in the gym that ended with a second trip to nationals in three seasons, the Arkansas gymnastics team has also been rewarded for their efforts in the classroom as 14 Gymbacks were named Scholar All-Americans by the Women’s College Gymnastics Association (WCGA) on Wednesday.

Athletes with a 3.50 or above cumulative or academic year GPA are deemed Scholar All-Americans. Arkansas’ 14 honorees ties for the most in program history, and back-to-back years with 14 nods. Arkansas’ repeat winners include Reese Drotar, Hailey Klein, Priscilla Park, Frankie Price, Leah Smith, Cally Swaney, Cami Weaver and Lauren Williams, and Bradley Burton, Avalon Campbell, Allison Cucci, Madison Gustitus, Riley Jandorf and Avery King all earned the designation for the first time at Arkansas.

In addition to the individual accolades, the WCGA also compiles academic data for the year across 75 programs. Arkansas finished with a 3.72 team GPA, good for 26th in the country and third in the SEC. The figure ties for the highest in program history, also set in 2025, and is the second year in a row ranked within the top 30 nationally.

The Gymbacks have registered a team GPA of 3.50 or higher in six of the last seven seasons and also saw 100 percent of the team’s returners earn SEC Winter Honor Roll or SEC First Year Honor Roll nods earlier this summer.
