17 Former Razorbacks Land on 53-Man NFL Rosters

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Seventeen former Arkansas football players were selected to 53-man NFL rosters ahead of the 2026 season on Sunday evening.

The 17 former Razorbacks are the most on active NFL rosters since 2023, when Arkansas had 19 alums active in the league.

QB Taylen Green (Cleveland Browns), OL Fernando Carmona (Tennessee Titans), DB Julian Neal (Seattle Seahawks), and RB Mike Washington Jr. (Las Vegas Raiders) all made active rosters following their first NFL training camp.

Both Green and Washington, along with LB Dre Greenlaw (San Francisco 49ers), were the lone Razorback alum representatives at their respective positions. In addition to Neal, defensive backs Montaric Brown (Jacksonville Jaguars) and Kamren Curl (Los Angeles Rams) landed on active rosters, while Landon Jackson (Buffalo Bills) and John Ridgeway III (New Orleans Saints) rounded out the defensive line selections. Additionally, Deatrich Wise Jr. (Washington Commanders) is currently placed on the PUP List (Physically Unable to Perform) entering the 2026 season.

On the offensive side of the football, Hjalte Frohodlt (Arizona Cardinals) and Beaux Limmer (Los Angeles Rams) join Carmona as offensive linemen appearing on active rosters. Hunter Henry (New England Patriots) and Feleipe Franks (Carolina Panthers) represent the tight end position while Treylon Burks (Washington Commanders) and Isaac TeSlaa (Detroit Lions) are the two Arkansas receivers currently active in the league.  Kickers Jake Bates (Detroit Lions) and Cam Little (Jacksonville Jaguars) round out the 17 former Razorbacks on active rosters.

The 2026 NFL Season will officially kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when Hunter Henry and the New England Patriots face Julian Neal and the Seattle Seahawks at 7:20 p.m. on NBC.
