2019 Football Special Event Dates Announced

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas has set dates for the Fall Hall of Honor recognition, Family Weekend and Homecoming Weekend for the 2019 football season.

The Colorado State weekend will feature the annual University of Arkansas Sports Fall Hall of Honor festivities. Several former Arkansas student-athletes and coaches will be recognized for their successes as Razorbacks. The honorees will be inducted at a banquet on the evening of Friday, Sept. 13, and will also be recognized during the game against the Rams on Sept. 14.

Family Weekend is slated for Saturday, Sept. 21, when Arkansas hosts San Jose State. Family Weekend provides a great opportunity for families to return to campus to visit their sons or daughters attending the University of Arkansas. Homecoming will be celebrated during the weekend of Saturday, Nov. 2, against Mississippi State. University of Arkansas graduates are encouraged to return to The Hill to join former classmates and all Razorbacks for a special weekend in Fayetteville. Homecoming week will be filled with fun activities, including the annual Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally on Friday night, Nov. 1.

Last season, the Razorbacks topped Tulsa on homecoming in a 23-0 shutout of the Golden Hurricane. The win improved Arkansas to 62-31-4 all-time on homecoming, dating back to the first contest on Nov. 18, 1922. It will be the first time the two teams have faced each other on homecoming.

The Razorbacks open the 2019 campaign on Saturday, Aug. 31, against Portland State at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.
