Arkansas Concludes Regional Run

Tournament Bracket

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Arkansas’ No. 9 ranked duo of senior Leolia Jeanjean and sophomore Giulia Pairone finished runner up in doubles Monday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Regional Championships on Kansas University’s campus.

The top-seeded tandem fell to Oklahoma State’s No. 2 seed Vladica Babic and Sofia Blanco, 6-3, 2-6, 8-10.

“I’m very proud of the team’s performances throughout the regional championship,” head coach Michael Hegarty said. “The level of play today was, again, very high, which speaks volumes about where we are at this stage of the season.”

Falling just short of automatic qualification into the ITA Fall National Championships, the Razorbacks will await at-large berths, which will be announced Wednesday.
