Hogs Fall to San Jose State
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark – The Arkansas football team fell to San Jose State, 31-24, on Saturday evening at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
(1st – 1:07 | Arkansas 7 – San Jose State 7) QB Nick Starkel found Mike Woods with the deep ball for a 62-yard touchdown pass, capping off a four-play, 72-yard scoring drive for the Hogs. It’s Starkel’s second-straight game with a touchdown through the air of 60-plus yards.
(1st – 0:36 | Arkansas 7 – San Jose State 7) Kamren Curl intercepted a Josh Love pass on the second play of the Spartans’ drive as he was driven out of bounds at the Razorback 34.
(3rd – 10:50 | Arkansas 7 – San Jose State 24) The Razorback defense picks up a fourth down stop at the 50-yard line as the Spartans turn it over on downs.
(3rd – 5:01 | Arkansas 10 – San Jose State 24) Connor Limpert put a 48-yarder through the uprights to bring Arkansas within two scores.
(4th – 13:10 | Arkansas 17 – San Jose State 24) Starkel found Tyson Morris for a 30-yard house call, capping off a nine-play, 80-yard touchdown drive that cut the deficit to seven.
(4th – 2:56 | Arkansas 24 – San Jose State 24) Starkel gets his third passing touchdown of the night with an eight-yard toss to Trey Knox, tying the game for the first time since early in the second quarter.
