Arkansas Gymnastics Opens SEC Slate at Auburn Friday

The Gymbacks are on the road again for their second meet and this week they’ll open conference competition with their first dual of the season at Auburn.

Arkansas last competed at Auburn in 2023 and has not won in Auburn since 2021. The Gymbacks took down the Tigers in both meetings in 2024, which marked the first time that Arkansas recorded back-to-back wins over Auburn since 2012. The Tigers are 6-1 in 2025 so far, their only loss to No. 1 Oklahoma. They have a high score of 196.775 through two meets and are currently ranked 12th in the country.

The Gymbacks competed at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad last weekend and took fourth place with a score of 195.875. Freshman Joscelyn Roberson tied for first in the all-around in her collegiate debut and also tied for second on floor. Her 39.475 all-around score is the second-highest all-around score ever notched by a freshman Gymback and her 9.950 on is also the second-highest by a first-year athlete, last done by Lauren Williams in 2023.

Friday’s competition is slated for 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on SEC Network, with live stats available via Virtius.
