Arkansas Stays No. 1 for Sixth Straight Week
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas is the No. 1 team in the country for the sixth week in a row.
The Razorbacks remained the top-ranked team in the Baseball America’s week eight poll, which was released Monday. It is the sixth consecutive week that Arkansas holds the No. 1 spot in at least one of the six major polls.
The five other polls, including Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, D1Baseball, NCBWA, Perfect Game and USA Today, ranked Arkansas as the No. 2 team in the country for this week.
The Hogs are 22-4 overall and 7-2 in SEC play on the year after winning a midweek game against Central Arkansas, 21-8, and taking two of three at home against Auburn to claim their third conference series win of the year.
